Russian rubles to Vietnamese dong in Da Nang

Almost nobody in Vietnam takes ruble cash: banks and gold shops have no use for it, and the few who accept it price in a double margin. Russian-issued cards are no help either — abroad they clear neither payments nor ATM withdrawals. The working route is different: an SBP transfer from your Russian bank to a phone number, with dong handed to you here in Da Nang.

No bank card, no Vietnamese account, no carrying cash across the border. We fix the rate at the moment of the request and hold it until the transfer is finished, so the dong figure is known before you send anything. A normal deal takes 5–10 minutes, and the dong goes out as cash at the office, by courier across Da Nang, or by VietQR to a Vietnamese account.

    Send the receipt or a screenshot, we check that the money has landed and count out the dong at the rate we fixed. From request to payout a deal usually takes 5–10 minutes.

Why not ruble cash or a card

  • Ruble cash is accepted by a handful of counters and always at a poor rate — the ruble is illiquid here, and hauling banknotes across a border buys you nothing.
  • Russian bank cards do not work in Vietnam: neither payments nor ATM withdrawals, so "I will just withdraw on arrival" is not a plan.
  • Routing through third countries or crypto adds two conversions and a fee on each.
  • SBP removes the middle links: one conversion, one rate fixed at the moment of the request, and dong on your terms — cash at the office, delivery across Da Nang, or VietQR to a Vietnamese account.

I want to change a large amount — what is the procedure?
Agree it in advance: write to the site chat, WhatsApp or Telegram, or call +84 865 409 399. Large amounts get a better rate, and we prepare the cash for the time you arrive. Collect it at the office, have it delivered across Da Nang, or take it by VietQR to a Vietnamese account.
Do you accept ruble banknotes?
Only as a fallback and at a worse rate. An SBP transfer is always better value.
Can I do this outside Da Nang?
Cash pickup is in Da Nang, with courier delivery across the city. In Hoi An or anywhere else in Vietnam the option is an SBP transfer with dong sent to a Vietnamese account via VietQR.
